Vernalee Huckabay
Vernalee is a native of Colorado but has been a resident of California the past fifty- plus years. Becoming a Christian at an early age, the desire to please God has been the aim of her life. A reader of fiction, Vernalee dreamed to someday write wonderful novels also. Adulthood found her busy with marriage and raising two sons. Spare time was given her interest in art and writing. No longer pursuing fiction, she now finds inspirational/devotional material more satisfying. A number of these have been published in quarterly books. As a Bible teacher she most often writes her own studies based on Biblical characters, special subjects as miracles, parables and the Psalms. Many of these, she hopes to see in print one day. Worthwhile writing, Vernalee feels must have a purpose. “I feel the purpose of my writing is to honor God.”
