SCW sponsors a members only summer writing contest. The topics and word limits are set by the board. The prizes are monetary, to be used to help defray the winner's Writing Conference fees. A twenty-four dollar donation per year is requested to cover expenses. When a member joins mid-year the amount is adjusted.
